Hearing University Corp (HearU) is proud to Host and administer the Palm Springs Hearing Seminar this year.

Hearing University Corporation, also operating as HearU, is nonprofit 501(c)(3) - Charitable, educational, and scientific organization. The Specific Purpose of HearU is to advance the amelioration of hearing loss and balance disorders by providing an educational forum of all the stakeholders to improve the delivery of high-quality hearing healthcare. The long-term goal of HearU is to be a multi-disciplinary web-based platform with the mission of educating any interested party [1] in;

1.       the effects of hearing loss on the individual, significant others, and society

2.       the anatomical and scientific foundations of hearing and balance disorders

3.       current and future treatments of hearing loss and balance disorders

4.       practice management solutions for hearing healthcare practitioners

5.       action items for persons experiencing hearing and balance disorders

HearU is proud to host the Palm Springs Hearing Seminar, which has been educating hearing healthcare professionals of all types for over 40 years. All monies collected by the Palm Springs Hearing Seminar, including registration and the W. Lee Parker Scholarship fund, will go directly to HearU. Since HearU is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, these funds are tax deductible.

[1] Interested party is defined as individuals with hearing loss or balance disorders, significant others of these individuals, students or licensed hearing healthcare practitioners (i.e., Newborn Hearing Screener, Audiology Assistant, Hearing Instrument Specialist, Audiologist, Primary Care Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Otolaryngologist, etc.), researchers (basic, clinical, translational), and manufactures of technologies to treat and manage hearing loss and balance disorders.
