Agenda
The Tie that Binds:
The role of tinnitus in hearing, hearing loss, and its treatments
December 2-3, 2022
What is the common denominator between, stress, sensorineural hearing loss, Meniere’s Disease, Glomus tumors, hyperacusis, aspirin overdose, atherosclerosis, high blood pressure, diabetes, and migraines? The answer is that they all may present as tinnitus (self-perceived buzzing, ringing, pulsing, or chirping) in our patients. It is common for our hearing-impaired patients to notice their tinnitus before they notice their hearing loss and tinnitus is an important symptom that warrants a referral to us as Hearing Healthcare providers. This years’ Palm Springs Hearing Seminar will examine the far-reaching effects that tinnitus has on our patients and how to effectively treat them. We will take a deep dive into the anatomy and physiology, site generators, clinical presentations, clinical assessments, behavioral therapies, biotechnological therapies, and sound therapies including hearing aids that are available to treat and manage our tinnitus patients.
We are planning to hold a hybrid seminar this year for both in-person learning at the DoubleTree Hilton Golf Resort in Palm Springs, CA (pending state regulations on the number of attendees per conference space) and we will incorporate a remote learning option as well.
both in-person and remote learning options Available
